Imagination at Work

Imagination at work in a few words...
  • Week-long exhibit celebrating the creativity (drawing and texts) of students in kindergarten to grade 4.
  • Participants invited to attend the opening with their family.
  • Readings by Frye Festival authors at the opening.
  • Exhibit displayed from April 29 to May 3 at Assumption Place.
  • Works will be published on our website for friends and family from afar.
  • It's free to participate, and receive prizes!
Submission criteria:
  • 8 ½ X 11 sheet of paper, one side only.
  • Stories, poems and drawings (accompanied by texts are acceptable).
  • Student’s full name
  • Grade level
  • Teacher’s name
  • School, must be indicated on the top right corner of the page.
It’s easy to participate! Here’s what you have to do:
  • Send the texts and drawings by mail or drop them off in person at our office in the Aberdeen Cultural Centre (140 Botsford street, suite 21).
  • AND, fill out a short form providing your contact info, school name, the name of the participant(s) and the title of their work if applicable.   • All works will be sent back to schools after the Festival.
